Members Area

  • When you joined the Inn, your admission letter will have included a username and password for the Members Area of our website.

  • In the top right hand corner of the website you will have a Members Login link. Click here and log in.

  • From here you can navigate to the Events page to make bookings or to the Members Area to see your bookings and other information relevant to members of the Inn.



  • Qualifying Sessions are released for booking and advertised approximately 2 weeks before the start of each term. 

  • There are three terms in our calendar;
    • Michaelmas (September - December)
    • Hilary (January - March/April)
    • Trinity (March/April- July

  • There will be Qualifying Sessions run in each of these terms.

  • There is no requirement to complete Qualifying Sessions in any specific term. 

Events Page

  • The Events page can be navigated by using the filter and scroll functions in the top right hand corner of the main page. 

  • Filtering events: You can filter your page to show you only Qualifying Sessions or sessions under a certain theme. 

  • Scrolling: You can scroll through months using the left and right arrows at the top. 

  • Purchasing: You can choose to add a ticket to your basket and checkout once you have added all the events you wish to attend or you can checkout one event at a time. After booking a ticket you should receive a confirmation email with the details of your purchase. Further details about the event will be sent at a later date. 

Ticket Types

  • Unless advised otherwise in the advertisement for the event, students should book 'Student' tickets and Transferring Legal Professionals should book 'Called Member' tickets.

  • Please be mindful when booking events that are held both online and in person (hybrid) that you have booked the correct ticket type. Our cancellation period for each event applies to changing ticket types also.
    Catering and staff arrangements are made well in advance of each event. To avoid wasted resources, changes to ticket types will not be made after the advertised cancellation date has passed.


  • To cancel a Qualifying Session booking please email with the event name, date and a request to cancel the booking. 

  • Refunds will only be given if the event is cancelled by the Inn or if the cancellation request is made before the advertised closing date for bookings. This can be found in the event description under the sub-heading "Book/Cancel by:"

  • If you wish to change an in person booking to an online booking or vice versa, this must also be requested before the advertised "Book/Cancel by:" date. Requests made after this date may not be processed. Please see our page on Digital Events for more information on this policy.
